Namakkal, Tamil Nadu: A new Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) has commenced operations in Namakkal, providing residents with easier access to Aadhaar enrolment, updating and related services.
The new centre is located at Survey Nos. 369/38 and 369/42, New Field Survey Sub-Division No. 501/3, Door No. 74/25A, Natarajapuram Ward D, Block 6, Tiruchengode Road, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu.
The facility has four fully operational Aadhaar enrolment and update stations and has been established to meet the growing demand for Aadhaar-related services in the region.
The centre is managed and operated by BLS International, a global technology-enabled service partner for governments and citizens. The facility is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen digital identity infrastructure and improve last-mile access to citizen services across India.
Services available at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra include fresh Aadhaar enrolment, updating demographic details such as name, address and date of birth, biometric updates, document updates, and assistance with queries and grievances.
Namakkal District Collector Madhu Balan, IAS, along with other dignitaries, attended the inauguration of the new facility.
Designed with accessibility and convenience in mind, the centre includes wheelchair access and accessible toilet facilities. Residents can use the facility for Aadhaar enrolment, demographic and biometric updates and document-related services in a secure and organised environment.
The centre has the capacity to serve around 200 to 250 residents a day. It is equipped with a dedicated help desk, waiting areas, a token and queue management system, drinking water facilities, air-conditioning and clearly displayed information about the services available.
Special provisions have also been incorporated to make the facility convenient for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, supporting more inclusive access to Aadhaar services.
