Chennai, 18 Oct 2026: Applications have been invited for the appointment of new members to the Tamil Nadu State Advisory Board for Persons with Disabilities, as the tenure of the existing board has ended. Interested applicants must submit their applications by 5 pm on November 13, 2026. The board was consti tuted under the Rights of Persons with Disabi lities Act, 2016, and the Tamil Nadu Rights of Persons with Disabili ties Rules, 2018, to advise on matters concerning the welfare and rights of persons with disabilities.
