Chennai, 28 Oct 2026: Ladies Circle India, in association with Hair for Hope India and Adyar Cancer Institute, is organising a Mega Hair Donation Drive at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, on November 2, 2026, in association with the World Record Union, aiming to bring together 750+ hair donations at a single venue as part of a world record attempt.
The initiative aims to support cancer patients experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy and other treatments. Donated hair helps create wigs that restore confidence, dignity and self-esteem among cancer patients and survivors.
Through this initiative, Ladies Circle India hopes to unite individuals, students, schools, colleges, salons and volunteers to spread awareness about hair donation and encou rage people to contri bute to this meaningful cause.
