Cehnnai, 17 Oct 2026: The Tamil Nadu Paralympic Sports Association, affiliated with the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) and the Sports Development Autho rity of Tamil Nadu (SDAT), in Collabora tion with SRM Institute of Science and Tech nology (SRMIST), is organizing the 12th Senior State Para Swimming Champion ship 2026 on 18th October 2026 at the Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar Aquatic Complex, SRM Institute of Science and Techno logy (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu.
The championship will provide a platform for para swimmers from across Tamil Nadu to showcase their talent and compete at the state level. More than 200 participants are expected to take part in the champion ship, making it a signi ficant state-level para swimming event. The age group for the 2026 championship is born in or before 2008, for both Men and Women. The classification will be conducted on 18th October 2026 at 7.00 a.m., followed by the championship events.
The Tamil Nadu Paralympic Sports Association has invited eligible para swimmers to participate in the championship and make the event a grand success. The champion ship is expected to encourage emerging para swimming talent and further promote para sports across Tamil Nadu.
