CHENNAI – 1 Nov, 2026 Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh has emphasised nationwide outreach by the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) as a key priority for ensuring inclusive capacity building in governance.
Stressing the need to move beyond the national capital, he said that expanding IIPA’s geographical reach would help make its learning resources, academic activities and professional networks accessible to a wider community.
Addressing IIPA’s 72nd Annual General Body Meeting, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Chairman of the IIPA Executive Council, spoke in the presence of the Vice President of India and President of IIPA, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, along with senior officials, members of the Institute’s governing bodies and representatives of its academic and administrative community.
