The new offering enables riders to book train tickets, check their PNR status, and seamlessly connect their first and last-mile journeys with Uber, all within a single app.
The launch builds on Uber's continued expansion of its inter city travel offerings in India. With Train Ticket Booking, Uber continues to expand its portfolio of intercity travel options, leverag ing ixigo's market-leading train booking technology and seam less post-booking experience, making it easier for riders to plan every stage of their journey through a single , trusted platform.
Train travel remains one of the most preferred modes of long-distance transpor tation in India, with Indian Railways carry ing 741 crore passen gers in Fy2025–26.
