CHENNAI – 1 Nov, 2026 On account of "5th Edition of Chennai Runs Marathon" organized by Madras Round Table-1 on Sunday Nov 01, 2026, in the following 4 categories of Marathon (i-e) 21.1 Km, 10 Km, 5 Km and 3 Km Run at morning 04.15 hrs from Napier bridge to ML Park Junction via. Kamarajar Salai, DGS Dinakaran Salai, Greater Chennai Traffic Police will make following traffic arrangements made from 03.00 am:
All the outgoing vehicles coming from RBI North intending towards Labour Statue will be diverted at War memorial – Flagstaff road – Wallajah Point –Anna salai to reach their destination.
The vehicles coming from Anna Statue will not be allowed to Labour Statue and they will be diverted at Wallajah Road x Bells Road Jn to Bells Road to reach their destination.
The vehicles coming from Bharathi Salai will not be allowed to Kannagi Statue and they will be diverted at Bharathi Salai X Canal Road Jn towards Wallaja Road to reach their destination.
The vehicles coming from Dr.Radhakrishnan Salai towards Gandhi Statue will be diverted at V.M. Street towards Royapettah High road, Luz Corner, R.K.Mutt Road to reach their destination.
Vehicle coming from South Canal Road will be allowed towards Santhome High road and will not be allow to take right turn towards MRC Junction
