Chennai, September 2026: Takeda and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories have entered into an exclusive collaboration to promote and distribute Takeda’s dengue vaccine QDENGA® in India’s private market for pediatric and adult vaccination. Subject to applicable regulatory processes, QDENGA is anticipated to become available in India in the first half of 2027. The vaccine received marketing authorization from India’s CDSCO in July 2026 for individuals aged 4–60 years.

Ramana, CEO – Global Generics, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, said the introduction of India’s first approved dengue vaccine is an important development for the country’s healthcare landscape and that the collaboration will help make QDENGA available to eligible individuals.
Through the collaboration, Takeda and Dr. Reddy’s will support dengue disease awareness, healthcare-professional engagement, promotion and distribution of QDENGA across India’s private market. Takeda will contribute its global expertise in dengue prevention and vaccine science, while Dr. Reddy’s will leverage its healthcare network and nationwide distribution capabilities to support the vaccine’s anticipated launch and expand access to dengue prevention.
