Chennai, 23 Oct 2026: Monkey Shoulder, the premium blended malt Scotch whisky, concluded the Chennai round of the 9th edition of the Ultimate Bartender Championship at Radio Room, with over 40 bartenders show casing their skills in pouring, nosing, industry knowledge, service and cocktail preparation. Hosted by Vidit Mantri, Brand Ambassador, Monkey Shoulder India, the competition saw Robin from Vasco Da Gama emerge as the Chennai finalist.
Speaking about the championship, Vidit Mantri , Brand Ambassador, Monkey Shoulder India, high lighted the importance of precision, aroma recognition and composure in bartend ing. Joe Petch, Monkey Shoulder Global Brand Ambassador, empha sised the value of essential bartending skills and the opportunity for Indian talent to com pete inter nationally at the World Ultimate Bartender Championship Global Final.
The championship is being held across New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Mumbai, Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Guwahati and Chennai, with the India finale scheduled for October. The national winner will represent India at the World Ultimate Bartender Championship Global Final in November.
