CHENNAI – 5 Nov, 2026 Chennai: Infinity Timeless and Chopard brought together Chennai’s elite at SOMA, Pullman Hotel, to celebrate the launch of Happy Sport the First and to mark 50 years of Happy Diamonds, one of the most recognisable creations in modern fine watchmaking and jewellery. The evening opened with a showcase of the collection and was followed by a cocktail evening of music and fine cuisine.
The watches and jewellery on display were carefully curated from Chopard’s catalogue and brought in from Geneva especially for the occasion. Connoisseurs and brand aficionados were seen in deep conversation over the creations throughout the evening.
Happy Diamonds was introduced in 1976 with a single idea: For diamonds to move freely. The line grew with the Happy Clown jewellery collection, created by Caroline Scheufele in 1985, and the Happy Sport, which paired steel with diamonds, in 1993. Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard, founded the Chopard Manufacture in Fleurier in 1996.
