Chennai, 24 Oct 2026: The Board of Directors of Bajaj General Insurance Limited (formerly Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited), a subsidiary of Bajaj Finserv Limited, has approved the appointment of Deepak Reddy as CEO Designate from January 1, 2027. Subject to approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Deve lopment Authority of India (IRDAI), he will take cha rg eas Managing Director and CEO on April 1, 2027. Dr. Tapan Singhel will continue in the role until March 31, 2027, in line with IRDAI’s maximum continuous tenure of 15 years for Managing Directors, CEOs and Whole-time Directors.

During his 17-year association with Bajaj Finserv, he contributed to scaling several businesses and led the Rural, Insurance and Gold Loan businesses at Bajaj Finance.
