The new film produced by Jayachandran Karthika Devi on behalf of Delta Talkies Film Company has been named “Aagayam”.
Director Dinamodhu Nagaraj, who gained attention through the film “Dinamodhu”, was affectionately called by that name by his fans and the film industry after its huge success. It is worth mentioning that he subsequently worked on many films, including successful films like “Minnale” and “Kaakka Kaakka” directed by director Gautham Vasudev Menon.
He has now written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film “Aagayam”.
Sriram Karthik, who attracted everyone’s attention with his natural acting in the film “Kanni Madam”, is playing the lead role in the film. Alisha Mirani is making her debut as the heroine.
Also starring Sheela, Kanika, Santhana Bharathi, Jayaprakash, Giri Dwarakish, Sri Devakrishnan, Indumathi Manikandan, who acted in the film “Meiyazhagan”, Deepa, Sanjana Namidas, who won a National Award for her performance in the film “Maharaja”, Rosari, writer Hariharan and others are playing important roles.
Karthik Nallamuthu, who has done cinematography for films including “Chennai to Singapore”, “Kaathal Conditions Apply”, has done cinematography for the film.
Famous music composer Raghunandan, who has composed music for many successful films including “Neerparavai”, “Ayodhi”, has composed the music for the film,
while the songs have been written by Eknath, who wrote the famous Amma song “Nooru Samigal Bhadu”, and Sarathi, who has written hit songs including “Kaattodu Pattam Pola”, “Neelothi” and Ramanikanthan.
Suriya, who edited films like “Oru Nodi” and “Jenma Natchathiram”, has taken on the editing of the film.
The fight rehearsals have been arranged by Pier Karthik.
Manikandan is working as the choreographer.

“Story-wise, ‘Aagayam’ is an anti-drinking film. But, I have told it with a vibrant life. Apart from that, politics and social concerns have been added to it.
Films should give experiences, enter into life and give good feelings. It is an honor for us to make such a cinema. That is what I have done.
