Chennai, 15 September 2026 – Ultraviolette Automotive today announced the launch of a new UV Space Station in Porur, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expanding retail footprint across emerging mobility markets in India. The expansion comes at a pivotal phase in Ultraviolette’s growth journey, following the announcement of the company’s BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory, the introduction of the Battery Flex (BaaS) platform, and the launch of the X-47 Crossover. With this addition, the company strengthens customer access to its performance-oriented vehicles in Tamil Nadu while further reinforcing its growing national presence as it scales its manufacturing, product, and customer ecosystem across the country.

The newly established UV Space Station, in partnership with M/s. Savirro Motors LLP, will provide customers with a comprehensive experience to explore Ultraviolette’s performance motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and F77s. Designed as an immersive brand destination, the facility will offer test rides, sales consultations, product demonstrations, and access to an extensive range of motorcycle accessories under one roof.

The experience centre will showcase Ultraviolette’s flagship performance motorcycles, the X-47 and F77s. The products redefine electric performance with a powertrain delivering 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0-60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, the motorcycles offer an IDC-certified range of up to 323 km on a single charge.

Commenting on the launch, Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder & CEO, Ultraviolette, said “This is an exciting time for us as we expand across Chennai with the launch of our third space station here. Tamil Nadu offers an ideal environment for us to build and scale globally competitive mobility solutions from India. As we scale our manufacturing through our recently announced BIGGA Factory, we are equally focused on building a strong physical presence that brings Ultraviolette closer to our community. Chennai, with its deep-rooted automotive legacy and rapidly evolving urban landscape, is an important part of this journey. Our new UV Space Station in Porur creates a destination where riders and enthusiasts can experience the technology, design, and performance that define Ultraviolette.”

Built on Ultraviolette’s deep engineering expertise and platform-led innovation, the X-47 Crossover is the world’s first electric motorcycle in its segment to offer radar as standard. Designed for versatile riding, it features a 5-inch TFT display, three ride modes, long-travel suspension, and industry-first radial all-terrain tyres, delivering confidence and control across varied conditions.

The motorcycle is powered by UV Radar Intelligence and the UV HyperSense Advanced Rider Assistance System, enabled by a 77 GHz rear radar that supports features such as blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, overtake alerts, and rear-collision warnings. It also incorporates an integrated dashcam and the world’s most power-dense air-cooled onboard charger, developed entirely in-house by Ultraviolette.

Reinforcing its commitment to scaling next-generation electric mobility, Ultraviolette recently announced its BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, a new manufacturing facility designed to significantly expand production capacity, support its growing product portfolio, and accelerate the company’s ambitions across India and international markets. Equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies and planned for phased capacity expansion, the facility represents a major investment in Tamil Nadu’s manufacturing ecosystem and further strengthens Ultraviolette’s industrial and innovation footprint in the state. Complementing this growth, the company also introduced Battery Flex (BaaS), a flexible ownership model that enables customers to own the X-47 starting at ₹1,49,000, with battery subscriptions beginning at ₹2,323 per month. By separating vehicle and battery ownership costs, Battery Flex makes advanced electric mobility more accessible while offering greater flexibility and convenience.
