SIP ALL INDIA ARITHMETIC GENIUS 37 students were the best of best from 150 finalist who took up the final round


Chennai 23rd December 2018: The finals of the much awaited event in the Calendar of the Primary School Children across the country, SIP ALL INDIA ARITHMETIC GENIUS CONTEST, was held in a glittering function in a festive atmosphere in Hotel Green Park, Vadapalani, Chennai, today.

The 4th Edition of the Contest, conducted by the SIP Academy for students in Classes 2 to 4, saw a participation of a humongous 3 lakh children from more than 600 Top Schools from 20 States across the country. The 4-tier contest, with School Round, City Round, State Round and the National Final Round, helps in building a solid foundation in the basics of Arithmetic and also fostering the competitive spirit in children. Attractive cash awards and trophies were given at the State level competition to the victorious children.
150 students from 20 States qualified for the finals and the following Winners of the Contest from each class were titled the “Arithmetic Genius” for 2018 apart from getting a Cash Award of Rs. 25,000/- each. 2nd and 3rd Prize winners were given cash awards of Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 each.

1st Runner up- Tanmay Vasant Shelke from ACE Academy, Aurangabad, K & M
2nd Runner up- A. Priya Jain from Secundrerabad Public School, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, Telangana
2nd Runner up- Shiyam Sunthar. A from Dr. G.S.K Memorial School, Kumbakonam, TamilNadu

Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Victor, Managing Director, SIP Academy India lauded the children for their enthusiastic participation in overwhelming numbers as well as quality which has made this event a very important one for them to look forward to. He also highlighted the fact that SIP Academy has trained close to 7 lakh children in various disciplines in its centres in more than 300 cities in 23 States in India and prepared them to face life more confidently.
