The monthly Dial your EO programme was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday wherein 17 pilgrim callers interacted with the TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal over phone and given their feedback on various issues. Some excerpts:

INCLUDE KESAR IN LADDU DITTAM  
A pilgrim caller Sri Venkateswara Rao from Eluru sought EO to include Kesar in Dittam that is specified for making Laddu Prasadam which was in use some five decades ago. “Lot of sugar candy is being used to prepare laddus now a days instead of dry grapes and Kesar”, he added. Responding to the caller, the EO said, there is no change in Dittam. But any how will discuss with Potu workers who prepare laddu prasadams on improving the quality to further level”, he added.

KALYANOTSAVA SANKALPAM SHOULD BE RENDERED WITH MORE CLARITY
The Sankalpam rendered during Kalyanotsava Seva should be recited with more clarity by the Archakas so that it is audible to every pilgrim, suggested Sri Srinivas, a pilgrim caller to which the EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said, the same will be intimated to the concerned religious staff.

SUPRABHATA SEVA COVERAGE AS PER AGAMA  
Another pilgrim caller Sri Venkateswara Rao from Gudivada said, the presiding deity of Lord Sri Venkateswara is not seen during Suprabhata Seva programme telecasted every day on SVBC. EO said, the coverage in the replica temple happens only as per the instructions of Archakas.

DISTRIBUTE VADAS TO PILGRIMS AT TIRUCHANOOR  
A caller Sri Janardhan from Tirupati brought to the notice of TTD EO that the Vada prasadam in Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor is not made available for the pilgrims and the employees are distributing among themselves. Reacting to this caller, the EO said, he will instruct the concerned officers to ensure availability of Vadas to pilgrims.

ARRANGE FREE BUSES IN TIRUPATI DURING NIGHTS
Another pilgrim caller Sri Sagar from Tirupati informed EO that the private taxis are charging huge amounts from the pilgrims in Tirupati and sought him to operate free buses in Tirupati especially during nights. Welcoming the suggestion, the EO said, he will definitely look into the possibility of running free buses.
